The book documents one year of painting Portuguese “invisible” houses. Why “invisible”? Because they are the kinds of houses we often overlook, seemingly uninteresting, abandoned, or decaying.

Through painting, the goal of this book is to highlight the hidden beauty within these places and reveal this side of Portugal that is so fascinating, yet so present in the background of our everyday lives.

This project is an art book that shares these paintings, their locations, and reflections on the techniques and creative process behind them. Above all, the book aims to showcase these houses and allow them to be appreciated, noticed, and remembered

Este livro documenta um ano a pintar casas portuguesas “invisíveis”. Porquê “invisíveis”? Porque são o tipo de casas que muitas vezes ignoramos, aparentemente sem interesse, abandonadas ou em degradação.

Através da pintura, o objetivo deste livro é destacar a beleza escondida destes lugares e revelar este lado de Portugal tão fascinante, mas ao mesmo tempo tão presente no pano de fundo do nosso quotidiano.

Este é um livro de arte que reúne não só pinturas, mas também as suas localizações e reflexões sobre as técnicas e o processo criativo por detrás de cada obra. Acima de tudo, o livro procura dar destaque a estas casas e permitir que sejam apreciadas, observadas e recordadas.
